Holy smacks! This lad called Gang Colours just put out today his gorgeous album “The Keychain Collection” - out under Gilles Peterson’s Label Brownswood.

It was earlier described between the Israeli folks as “One of the most refreshing producers to come out this year”, while speaking about his EP that went out last summer (“In your gut like a knife”). To me it almost reminds of James Blake, though Gang doesn’t play with his vocal abilities much like Blake. Even though, he still plays distinctively cool beats.

That one above is Fancy Restaurant.
Love it

Awesome and good luck

This is it.
This is the one that started the whole deal, a little over a year ago.
To this gentleman, I sort-of owe my life.

Last.fm describes:
“Following a youthful decade of producing beats between New York and Boston, 22 -year-old Bennett Kuhn has honed in on a sound that spans a wide range of contemporary electronic music. Ranging from futurist hip-hop a la Low End Theory through juke-inspired uptempo tracks and post-dubstep, Kuhn’s sound is raw, energetic and individual.”

A bit beyond: An american chap made me listen to this masterpiece on his big heavy music-glasses/headphones. Didn’t took too long for me to figure out I’m hooked.

He told me that it comes from this tiny-huge collaboration, called Astro Nautico.
This collaboration also includes names like Obey City, RAJA, Paul Jones and more. The fact that this collaboration isn’t seeking to hold just one title (Seriously, what are you guys? A band? A company? A group that continuously gets artists to work together?), makes it a fun dive into their relaxing-spacy-spicy sounds. I advice you to go check out their website that I linked above, they keep posting goodies on their blog. Not to mention they put some of their releases to download (YAY).
